The Swimming Pool Plastering Process

It usually takes 3 days from start to finish to plaster a swimming pool or spa. (unless the pool or spa is painted or tile or brick pavers are wanted)

We first set a pump to drain the pool or spa.

The second day we send in our prep crew to prepare the surface for new plaster. This step includes knocking off loose plaster or (pop off's) and using a hand held roto-hammer to prep around the tile bed. The loose plaster is hauled off and then we rough up the entire surface of the swimming pool or spa to be ready for the new plaster.

The last step is to send in our plaster crew. Our mixer will prepare our plaster using our own formula and pump it through a large hose by air pressure. Our plaster crew then trowels the mixture to a smooth and hard surface. Upon completion, our crew then cleans up the job site as though we were never there.

The customer then fill the pool or spa with water until the water level is up to the middle of the tile line.

ENJOY!
